Your account
Your VeryQuery identity: your name, sign-in email, password, and active sessions. These settings are about you, not about any one organization or property, so they follow you across every organization you belong to.
Your name
Your name lives on the Profile page and is the one field there. It's how you appear to teammates, for example in the team roster. Edit it and click Save changes.
Email, password, and sessions
Your sign-in email, password, and active sessions are on the Security page.
Changing your email
Your email is what you sign in with, so the change is confirmed in two steps and your current address keeps working the whole time.
- Click Change email, enter the new address and your current password. We send a code to the new address.
- Enter that code to switch over. Until you do, your old address stays active, so a typo never locks you out.
If the code doesn't arrive, Resend code sends a fresh one (you'll confirm your password again). Cancel change stops the switch and keeps your current email. Once the new email is confirmed, your other devices are signed out and you stay signed in here.
Changing your password
Enter your current password and a new one of at least eight characters. When you save, every other session is signed out, so anyone using your account elsewhere has to sign in again. Your current session stays active.
Active sessions
Sign out all other sessions signs out every other device or browser signed in as you, while leaving your current session alone. It's the quick way to cut off a device you no longer have or a browser you forgot to sign out of.
