Your team
Everyone who can sign in to your organization, the roles they hold, and the invitations you've sent. Find it under Team in your organization's left nav.
Members and roles
A member is anyone who can sign in to your organization. The list shows each person's name, email, role, and the date they joined. Your own row is marked You.
There are two roles:
- Owner
- Can do everything a member can, plus manage the team roster: invite people, change roles, remove members, and revoke invitations.
- Member
- Can do everything in the organization (properties, billing, integrations, settings) except change the team roster. Members see the roster but can't edit it.
An organization can have more than one owner. The roster, invitations, and role buttons only appear as editable controls when you're an owner.
Inviting someone
- Open Team and click Invite.
- Enter their email address and send the invitation.
- They get a link by email. When they accept, they join as a member.
New people always join as members. To make someone an owner, invite them first, then promote them once they've joined. A pending invite shows up in the Pending invitations list with the date it was sent and when it expires.
Changing roles
- Promote to owner
- Gives a member full control of the team roster, including the ability to change your role.
- Demote to member
- Removes roster control. The person keeps full access to everything else.
An organization always needs at least one owner. If you're the only owner, the demote control is disabled until you promote someone else first. If you demote yourself while another owner is in place, you'll lose roster control and won't be able to promote yourself back without their help.
Removing someone
Removing a member revokes their sign-in to the organization immediately. Anything they created (API keys, their history of actions) stays in place; only their access is cut. You can re-invite them later. As with demotion, the last remaining owner can't be removed.
Pending invitations
Invitations you've sent but that haven't been accepted yet sit in Pending invitations, each with an expiry date. Revoke stops the emailed link from working. You can send a fresh invitation to the same address at any time.
