Collaborations
Work other organizations do on your properties, and properties your own team helps run. Find it under Collaborations in your organization's left nav.
What a collaboration is
A collaboration grants another organization operational access to your properties: their team can run search, merchandising, items, and the rest, working alongside you. It does not give them your billing, your team roster, or your organization settings. Access and rev share are separate things, so granting or revoking a collaboration never touches any partner payout arrangement.
This page is the operational guide to your Collaborations page. Collaborations are part of the partner program; for the relationship itself, how an agency comes to hold access and what a collaborator can and can't do, see Collaborator access. For your own members rather than outside collaborators, see Your team.
Inviting a collaborator
You invite a collaborator with their referral code, not their email.
- Ask the organization you want to bring in for their referral code. It's the token on their referral link, shown on their Partner Program page.
- Open Collaborations, click Invite a collaborator, and paste the code.
- They see the invitation in their own dashboard and accept from their end. Once they accept, every member of their organization gets collaborator access to your properties.
An invitation you've sent stays in Pending until they accept. You can revoke a pending invite to stop them accepting it.
Accepting an invitation
If another organization invites your team to collaborate, the invitation appears at the top of your Collaborations page. Accepting grants every member of your organization collaborator access to that host's properties. They then show up under Properties you work on, where Open takes you into the host organization to do the work.
Revoking access
Revoking ends a collaborator's operational access to your properties right away. Any API keys their team created on your properties are revoked at the same time. Revoking access does not stop rev share they're owed: if they referred this organization, that continues to flow under the partner agreement. Roster and billing were never theirs to begin with, so nothing there changes.
